A painting a day until...

Well that was an interesting couple of days, let the posts continue. The Bfa show opened last night, I got hit on by a 50 year old woman and I heard Julie Odell play one of her last shows in Memphis until next August, probably the last one I will see for awhile. Listen to her here:

There will be no disappointment.

A painting a day until...

Liquid Balcony

Days become not as forgetful
Thought as once were
Was why
Stapled my fur to the spot
Momentarily forgot
Those eyes casted a wicked spell
Known but not
Liquid balcony speeds thought
As on coffins we walk
Dead ears
All but forgot
Wash away play
Ghostwalk on liquid balconies
May as
Well be
Maybe not
Stored and saved
The fur will grow back
No more thought

:Almost there, it will be so much better when I leave this school. It is full of fuck offs.

Dream Show

This is my work that was put into the Memphis College of Art's "The Dream Show". It showcased work about human or civil rights but, it was taken down before the candlelight vigil for Martin Luther King. The school really goofed this up what a disrespectful act.
